Cultural: Plymouth 's Theatre Royal produce excellent Ballet, Opera, and often theatre prior to going to London . Birmingham Ballet and the Welsh National Opera and Glyndebourne all come annually. (You will need to book early) Book a short break around your theatre.
Coasts: Accessible and within 1 hour. Wembury, Bigbury and Blackpool on the south and Bude, between Widemouth and Boscastle and Crackington on the north for surfing. Widemouth is dog friendly in the summer.
National Trust: Lydford Gorge, Castle Drogo, Buckfast Abbey, Buckland Abbey, Saltram House, Cotehele, Wheal Betsy.
