Yelverton is very well served with a small supermarket, a butcher, village shop with fresh bread and pasties daily, garage, chemist/post office. Tavistock, the 2004 Market Town of the Year is 8 miles away and historic Plymouth 10.
We have a stable and large field shelter should you wish to bring horses. Dogs are welcome also providing they are well behaved.
Buckland Monachorum has a very good pub/restaurant, and there are many others in the area. Morwellham Quay, The Garden House gardens, Buckland Abbey and Cotehele are some of the very special places to visit in this area.
Other facilities in the area include golf and fishing, and of course, walking and cycling is very well signposted.
The accommodation consists of one double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The sitting room, dining area and kitchen are open plan with a ‘box room' housing the boiler and central heating system with plenty of space for hanging wellies and wet coats etc. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer and a washing machine.
There is access to the top part of the garden off the parking area with a lovely view towards the village.
All bed linen and towels are included and should you wish the basics to be there on your arrival, this can be arranged.
