The accommodation is all at ground level and has metre wide doorways; It consists of a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and an open plan sitting/dining/kitchen. There is a separate ‘box' room which houses the central heating boiler and coats, boots etc.
The kitchen is well equipped with cupboards and worktops; there is an 4 ring gas stove with separate oven and grill; a microwave cooker, fridge with freezer section and a washing machine. There is plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots, pans etc.
The sitting area is bright and spacious with 2 sofas, coffee table, bookshelves and colour TC with integral CD/DVD player. A good sized table affords comfortable dining area.
It is blissfully quiet with wonderful views out over the valley to the village of Buckland Monachorum .
Crapstone offers a small competitive village shop and post office about 1 ½ miles away, and Yelverton , at 3 miles, offers a supermarket, butcher, chemist, estate agents, village shop/delicatessen, garage and hairdresser. The butcher is superb and local vegetables are often on sale at the shop. Tavistock and Plymouth are 6 and 10 miles respectively and both are worth a visit.
There are several good pubs and restaurants in the area, and places to visit abound, such as Buckland Abbey, Cotehele House, Morwellham Quay, Lydford Gorge, The Powder Mills, etc.
Other facilities in the area include golf, fishing, riding, cycling and, of course, walking.
